The Nervous System - INTENSIVE LIVE WEBINAR

Underviser: Rikke Godthjælp

The nervous system plays a central role in both the body’s physical and emotional responses – and in the treatment room it’s crucial to understand how it affects pain perception, regulation and healing.

In this intensive live webinar, we dive into how to work with the nervous system in practice through auriculotherapy. The course will give you a solid understanding of how to support the client’s nervous system – both in acute and chronic conditions – and create more effective and in-depth treatment pathways.

With a basic understanding of the functions of the nervous system, it becomes easier to understand why the body reacts the way it does – especially in relation to stress, pain, trauma and emotional imbalances. You’ll learn to identify and work with these reactions directly via the ear.

THIS IS WHAT WE’LL COVER IN THE WEBINAR
The course is designed to give both beginners and more experienced practitioners concrete knowledge and useful techniques.

We go through:
– How the autonomic nervous system is built – and why it’s important in treatment
-The connection between the nervous system, pain and emotional responses
-How to locate and treat nerve points in the ear
-How auriculotherapy can support nervous system regulation
-How to use the VAS pulse (if you know it) – but also how to work without it
-When the nervous system should be your primary focus in treatment

PRACTICAL APPLICATION

After the course, you will be able to integrate work with the nervous system into your daily practice – whether you work with pain, stress, anxiety, sleep disorders or clients with long-term imbalances.

You will be able to:
– Identify if the nervous system is on alert
– Use ear acupuncture to regulate and support the body’s own calming and healing response
– Support emotional stability through specific points and protocols
– Create a deeper and more balanced treatment process

Prerequisites:

The course is aimed at practitioners with an interest in auriculotherapy. Knowledge of the method is an advantage, but you can participate without mastering the VAS pulse – the content is adapted to several levels.
